The mission of LatinoVoteMatters.org is to inform the electorate and unite Latino voters in pursuit of public policy that is both fair and actionable. Here you’ll find historical fact and statistics as well as current information intended to keep you abreast of trends in immigration, employment, and the rights of immigrants and their families.
In 2012, Latino voters were a major force in deciding those who would become our elected officials including members of the House, Senate, and Oval Office. Values such as family and social connection suggest a community that has not only integrated with the American fabric but has gained influence in the political and business communities. The opportunity to gain legal status and citizenship for the estimated 11 million undocumented residents and their families will have a significant impact on future elections.
We hope to be your resource for information on candidates and issues that are of primary interest to undocumented residents and voters alike. We’ll cover the events that shape both regional and national politics including those leading up to the midterm elections as well as the race for the 2016 race for the White House.
